Le metamorfosi del corpo e la crisi della contemporaneità in Bacon e Giacometti

Partendo dallo spunto di una mancata visita alla mostra Bacon-Giacometti tenutasi a Basilea nel 2018, l’autore propone una lettura relativa alle stringenti analogie nel lavoro dei due artisti, attraverso un lavoro di psicoanalisi esploratrice finalizzato a mettere in luce le risposte che essi hanno dato a degli interrogativi esistenziali del loro tempo che li hanno costantemente ossessionati. L’analisi della produzione artistica di Francis Bacon Alberto Giacometti porta l’autore a centrarsi su quello che definisce come lavoro deformativo/trasformativo che compiono sul corpo dei soggetti rappresentati, nel tentativo costantemente incompiuto di cogliere la realtà della cosa che si cela dietro le apparenze. Da ultimo, l’autore propone una lettura dell’opera dei due artisti come massimo esempio di messa in rappresentazione del malessere dell’uomo contemporaneo.

THE METAMORPHOSIS OF THE BODY AND THE CRISIS OF CONTEMPORANEITY IN BACON AND GIACOMETTI: Starting from the cue of a missed visit to the Bacon-Giacometti exhibition held in Basel in 2018, the author proposes an interpretation of the striking similarities in the work of the two artists, through a work of exploratory psychoanalysis aimed at highlighting the answers they gave to existential questions of their time that constantly haunted them. The analysis of Francis Bacon’s and Alberto Giacometti’s artistic production leads the author to focus on what he defines as the deformative/transformative work that they carry out on the bodies of the subjects represented, in a constantly unsuccessful attempt to grasp the real thing behind appearances. Finally, the author proposes an interpretation of the work of the two artists as the ultimate example of the representation of the malaise of contemporary man.

LA MÉTAMORPHOSE DU CORPS ET LA CRISE DE LA CONTEMPORANÉITÉ CHEZ BACON ET GIACOMETTI: Partant du déclic d’une visite manquée de l’exposition Bacon-Giacometti qui s’est tenue à Bâle en 2018, l’auteur propose une interprétation des similitudes frappantes dans l’œuvre des deux artistes, à travers un travail de psychanalyse exploratrice visant à mettre en évidence les réponses qu’ils ont apportées aux questions existentielles de leur temps qui ne cessaient de les hanter. L’analyse de la production artistique de Francis Bacon et d’Alberto Giacometti conduit l’auteur à mettre l’accent sur ce qu’il définit comme le travail de déformation/transformation qu’effectuent sur les corps des sujets représentés, dans une tentative toujours infructueuse de saisir la chose réelle derrière les apparences. Enfin, l’auteur propose une interprétation de l’œuvre des deux artistes comme l’exemple majeure de la représentation du malêtre de l’homme contemporain.

Las metamorfosis del cuerpo y la crisis de la contemporaneidad en Bacon y Giacometti: A partir del hecho de no haber asistido a la exposición Bacon-Giacometti celebrada en Basilea en 2018, el autor propone una lectura centrada en las estrechas analogías entre el trabajo de los dos artistas, mediante un trabajo de psicoanálisis exploratorio orientado a destacar las respuestas que ambos dieron a interrogantes existenciales de su tiempo que los obsesionaron constantemente. El análisis de la producción artística de Francis Bacon y Alberto Giacometti lleva al autor a centrarse en lo que define como un trabajo deformador/transformador sobre el cuerpo de los sujetos representados, en un intento constantemente inacabado de captar la realidad de la cosa que se oculta tras las apariencias. En conclusión, el autor propone una lectura de la obra de ambos artistas como máximo ejemplo de representación del malestar del hombre contemporáneo.

Die Verwandlung des Körpers und die Krise der Gegenwärtigkeit bei Bacon und Giacometti:Ausgehend von einem versäumten Besuch der Ausstellung Bacon-Giacometti, die 2018 in Basilea stattfand, unternimmt der Verfasser eine Lektüre, die die deutlichen Analogien in den Werken der beiden Künstler berücksichtigt, dies geschieht mit Hilfe einer explorativen Psychoanalyse, die darauf abzielt, die Antworten zu erhellen, die diese auf die existentiellen Fragen ihrer Zeit, die sie unaufhörlich beschäftigten, gegeben haben. Die Analyse des künstlerischen Schaffens von Francis Bacon und Alberto Giacometti führt den Verfasser zur Fokussierung auf das, was er als deformative/transformative Arbeit bestimmt, die sich an den Körpern der dargestellten Subjekte vollzieht, im immer unvollendeten Versuch, das Ding zu erfassen, das sich hinter den Erscheinungen verbirgt. Zuletzt schlägt der Verfasser eine Lektüre des Werkes der beiden Künstler als bestes Beispiel einer Darstellung des Unbehagens des zeitgenössischen Menschen vor.
